Description

While not a true sunflower, tithonia is a tall, vigorous annual with soft green foliage and blooms that are loaded with butterflies. Here on the farm, we cut our stands down each year and chop them into garden beds or on fruit trees as a "green manure". It's also easy to collect the seed bulbs and reseed them for next season.
