This Southeast Asian basil has a delightful sweet minty flavor perfect for teas, salads and other dishes. Grows easily in Florida heat, and is a great favorite of bees. Sun or part shade, it likes regular water but somewhat drought tolerant. May be short term perennial if protected from frost. Cut it back regularly and dry the leaves. Cutting it back before it seeds will prolong its life.
