Description

A well loved native butterfly attractant, this bush will sometimes have six or more Zebra Longwings flittering around it at any given time. Beautiful orange leaves and flowers make this a great accent plant, and it like shade - it is often found under trees in the wild. Not edible, but the wildlife will thank you for having this plant in your garden. In 9A, Firebush can die back in the winter after a harsh cold spell, but comes back quickly in the spring. Medium to large bush up to 15 feet - more usually 6-8 feet.
