Banana, Rajapuri, Musa- This tasty banana grows to about 8-12 feet and is cold tolerant (will die back in freezes but come back from roots in 9A, and protected areas of 8B. Our trees have held their fruit through several freezes under canopy protection). Bananas are very hungry and need lots of fertility. They also can grow near water as they like moisture as well. Be generous with manure and water and you will be rewarded with lots of bananas!
